Eckards has been awarded Garden Centre of Excelence 2024 status by the South African Nursery Association.An award that puts us in the top ten garden centres in the country once again, which we are super excited about.
Eckards came third in the Garden Centre of the Year 2023 National competition
Having consistently featured on the GCA top garden centres in South Africa list for the past 20 years is a huge achievement as an independent garden centre.
The competition took a brief hiatus during the COVID pandemic and our Association reinstated it with all new criteria and higher standards from 2022
Eckards won the Garden Centre of the Year 2020 as well as 2022 for Gauteng South in the regional competition. We also received recognition as the overall winner in our size category for National Garden Centre of the Year 2020. Together with our Platinum Grading we really have had cause for celebration here at Eckards.
The Eckards team also won the Best Garden Centre Staff of the Year 2020 National along with 5 additional department wins from the GCA Competition held annually. GCA is the National Garden Centre Association.
We are super pround to have won the coveted Garden Pavilion Of the Year 2019 Trophy This was our 7th win in the 27 Years we have been a member. Awards would be nothing without our team who are on the forefront of making Eckards the best it can be.
